Hatch made of AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, suitable for silos and large-capacity tanks made of stainless steel or reinforced concrete.
It is composed essentially of a 100-mm-high frame (although the height may vary according to customer requirements) and a lid with two modes of opening: tilting and flag. The two parts are linked together by a hinge swivel positioned on a vertical axis.
The rubber gasket ensures a watertight seal.
The clamp, held in place by the stainless steel supports welded to the frame, allows for quick and uniformly airtight closure, thanks in part to the presence of the additional screw clamping.
The safety cotter pin prevents inappropriate opening.
The absolute advantage of this hatch is that it features instant closing/opening. All that is needed is to pry with the handle of the closure clamp to carry out such operations effectively.
The perfect and uniform sealing of hatch allows it to be used in all those cases where it is desired to keep protective gases inside the tank, such as in the wine industry for wine storage.
The flag opening allows a single operator to slide the lid sideways easily and safely; it also allows it to be opened even when space above the tank is limited and prevents it from tipping over.

The hatch is completely brushed.Depending on requirements and upon request, it can also be supplied shot-blasted or electropolished.
– Standard frames have a standard height of 100 mm, but can be supplied up to a height of 1000 mm upon request.

These hatches, having a coarse diameter, allow practical, reliable and hygienic access to all those tanks into which it is necessary to introduce automatic production, measuring or cleaning devices.
